A Few Things You Can Expect As A RVFM Intern

Payment

As an intern, you will receive a monthly stipend of $200 to offset living expenses such as gas, food, etc.

Housing

Free housing is provided through host homes

Transportation

Most of your responsibilities will require a reliable form of transportation, making a license and car mandatory for your internship.

Due to the nature of the RVFM Internship, we ask that applicants not work an additional job while in the program.

What does a typical day look like?

Every day can bring something different. You’ll work on projects within your hub group, attend meetings, participate in intern-specific activities, and visit different RVFM churches..

What will be my work hours?

This is a full-time experience, so expect a flexible schedule with a mix of weekday work, weekend services, and special events. You’ll be very involved in both the church and intern activities.

Can I have a job while in the program?

Because of the the program’s demands, we ask that interns focus entirely on their internship and not work an additional job. The schedule may include late hours and last-minute needs that could conflict with other jobs.

Is this a paid internship?

No, but we will provide housing and a monthly stipend to help offset some expenses while you're in the program.

Do I need to stay for the entire duration of the internship?

Yes, we ask that you commit to the duration of the internship to get the whole experience.
